Who we are and what this app does

Slimmy (tryslimmy.com) uses an internal tool, the BTM Slimmy Ads Agent Meta app, only to manage Slimmy’s own advertising on Facebook and Instagram. The app is not offered to the public and does not log in end users.

What access the app has

The app uses a Meta system user token with these permissions: ads_management, ads_read, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement and pages_manage_ads. This access is limited to Slimmy’s own ad account, Facebook Page and Meta pixel.

What data the app uses

  • Campaign, ad set, ad and creative settings
  • Ad images we upload
  • Aggregated ad performance: spend, impressions, clicks, purchases and purchase value
  • Pixel metadata and aggregated pixel event counts: the pixel’s name, the time it last fired, and hourly totals of events such as page views and purchases (counts only, no individual user data)
  • Our Facebook Page’s name and ID

The app does not access individual Facebook or Instagram users’ personal data, custom audiences or customer lists, lead form data, or conversion event payloads.

Store conversion events are sent to Meta by Shopify’s own integration, not by this app. That is covered by our main Privacy Policy.

How the data is processed and stored

  • The data is processed by our AI operations assistant, which runs on a hosted computer.
  • The access token is kept in an encrypted secret store and is sent only to Meta’s API (graph.facebook.com).
  • Ad settings, ad previews and aggregate reports are stored as files in our project workspace.

We do not sell this data or share it with other third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep this data while Slimmy advertising is active. We delete it within 30 days of a deletion request, or after we stop using the Meta integration.

Deleting your data

Follow our Data Deletion Instructions, or email support@tryslimmy.com with the subject Data Deletion. The app’s access can also be ended by removing it in Meta Business Settings.
